First Painting in the "Vintage Nostalgia" Collection

Self-Taught Artist, Mellissa Meeks, will be offering  fine art workshops, to include Beginner's, Intermediate, and Advanced levels of Acrylic Painting and photo-realistic drawings (graphite pencil and color pencil).  She will be developing her workshop series to be offered in the spring, summer and fall timeframe.  These workshops will provide a unique opportunity for people to get together to laugh, learn, and take their creativity to the next level.  Mellissa will guide you through your painting  showing you techniques to bring out the best in your art!  She will teach you about color concepts, lighting and composition.  Each workshop will be kept to a small list of participants to ensure one-on-one guidance and instruction.

Mellissa Meeks will also participate in an Open Tour of her art studio in the upcoming year 2012.  You will be able to visit with her and see where she creates alot of her artwork, rather it be at her drafting table or her easel...it will be an enlightening and energizing visit.
